Custom Wood Ornament

Create a lasting memory from a photo! Images are laser engraved on a wood cookie the same size as a coaster (3.5 - 4" diameter). Wood species may be birch, cedar, maple, ash, poplar, or other species of light-colored wood. The reverse side can be blank or include text you specify. My laser engraver and software have limited options for editing and formatting, so if it turns out your submitted photo does not work, I will request another or refund your purchase. After creating your engraving, I will send you a photo to verify it is what you want, and I will engrave the text on the reverse side (if applicable) and add string for hanging. I guarantee I will only collect payment and send you something that you are happy with.

**PLEASE check your email frequently (including your spam folder) for my correspondence. I will make every effort to contact you to confirm the image meets your satisfaction before mailing it. If I don't receive a reply after a few days I will fulfill your order and mail it, but there are no refunds or returns with this order once it ships since it is a custom product.**

I do not apply a finish to these ornaments because I find it darkens the wood and dulls the contrast between the engraving and wood background. If you want to apply a finish of your own after receiving, I recommend a water-based spray polyurethane.

Images which have high contrast between the subject and the background convert best for laser engraving (e.g. a background of water, snow, or the sky). Here are the steps for uploading:

1) Add your selected image (I can only do limited photo editing, so if you want backgrounds or objects to disappear from your image you need to do that before submitting).

2) Use the crop tool to adjust circle placement and diameter and make any other edits

3) Click "Done"

4) Enter any text you want on the back of the ornament in the format you want to see it printed, otherwise I will do my best to center align everything.
